Job Title: Laboratory Technician and Technical Support
Direct Superior: General Manager
Rate of Pay: $15 - $20 per hour DOE
Job requirements:
College graduate with biology, biochemistry or chemical related field; Lab
working experience is required; Strong spectroscopic interpretation skills
and ability to reconcile business and technical aspects is desirable.
Familiar with general lab practices and ISO working experience preferred.
Able to work independently and with a team; Must be able to work well under
pressure and meet deadlines; Good communication skills, Efficient in MS
office.
Duties?G
-Dispense of bulk antibiotics into gram level vials. Follow protocols, issue
and maintain records accordingly.
-Sample raw materials and finished products when required.
-Work with live cultures (bacteria) using proper aseptic technique.
-Detailed laboratory notes for specific research projects/production runs.
Complete and maintain the relevant documentation which records the testing.
-Environmental air sampling.
-Prepare technical data to support sales department.
-Inventory control (FIFO guarantee, incoming and outgoing product inspection
and booking). Keep overview of inventory levels and batches soon to be
expired ?V inform management.
-Stocking and rotating all prepared growth media, along with daily supplies,
in refrigerators and cabinets.
-Responsible for laboratory equipment maintenance, cleaning process control.
Cleaning of lab equipment with records maintained.
-Supplies organization, ordering of laboratory equipment, restocking supply
shelves. Ensure minimum stock at all times.
-Calibration management and quality control of all laboratory equipment.
Arrange calibration on
time and keep records.
-ISO technical data management, ensuring smooth QMS maintenance. Being in
charge of documents control.
-Assisting in laboratory operations in chromatography (HPLC, GC),
spectroscopy (NMR, IR, ICP/MS, ICP-OES) or classical chemical analysis.
-Preparation of a variety of bacteria and fungi environmental samples
-Clerical duties such as data entry, report generation, and answering
phones.
-Following QA/QC & AIHA procedures.
-Comply with company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
-Performs other job related duties as assigned.
