> WSSB has been selected as a recipient of the 2009 Vancouver Sparkles Community Pride Award.  Apparently we were nominated by someone in our neighborhood that felt we were a shining example that truly makes Vancouver Sparkle.  We will be receiving this award on the 27th of this month.  A lot of this recognition goes to Rob Tracey, facility manager, Leonard Allard, custodial supervisor and there crews and in particular Tom Schaff, who pretty much maintains the entire grounds -over 12 acres by himself.  They do great work and keep everything looking wonderful and all facilities operating at optimum performance.  WSSB has once again been a busy place this summer with lots of workshops and outside user groups.   Thanks to a great team and great team work!
