What is the purpose of the Council Meeting?
The purpose of the State Rehabilitation Council for the Department of
Services for the Blind is to develop, analyze, make recommendations, and
agree to state goals, the state plan, state policies, and state
activities to insure that persons who are blind in Washington State
receive the most effective and efficient services possible. Council
meetings are held on a quarterly basis to conduct Council business and
follow a set agenda. A copy of the agenda is available upon request.
How can I participate?
Members from the public are encouraged to attend and participate in
public comment scheduled from 10-10:30 a.m. Members may participate in
person or via teleconference. To connect via teleconference, please call
360-407-3780 and use pin: 518129#. Be sure to announce yourself once
you've connected.
DSB is committed to providing a barrier free environment for everyone
who attends the meeting. If you need a reasonable accommodation to
attend the meeting, please make those requests at least 2-weeks in
advance. DSB does not provide transportation to or from the meeting.
