Seahawks to Face Buccaneers for Fifth Time in the Last Six Seasons 

The Seahawks play host to the Buccaneers for the second time in the last
three seasons and face them for the fourth consecutive season this
weekend. Kickoff

is slated for 1:15 p.m. (PT) and will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in
Seattle) and broadcast on 97.3 FM and on 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle.

 

This marks the 10th matchup between the two 1976 expansion teams

with the Seahawks holding a 7-2 advantage in the series. The two have
met each of the last four seasons, with Seattle posting a 3-1 mark.

 

Last season the two teams met on NBC's Sunday Night Football as

Tampa Bay beat Seattle in Raymond James Stadium, 20-10. The Seahawks
trailed 17-0 at halftime and they held the Bucs to just three points in
the second

half but could not find the endzone to overcome the early deficit.
Seneca Wallace started for an injured Matt Hasselbeck and threw a
touchdown pass to

John Carlson while Seattle's run defense held Tampa Bay's sixth-ranked
rush offense to just 97 yards.
