      Light Rail Opens on July 18.   Here's What We Have in Store!

      Light rail is almost here and we have plenty going on to celebrate!  Join us all day starting at 9:00 am at Westlake, International District and Othello stations for free giveaways, opportunities to win prizes, have plenty of fun and be part of history! 

      Want something to commemorate Light Rail Opening?  We've got special one-of-a-kind Light Rail T-shirts for just 10 bucks! 

      Want to win some cool prizes? We're giving away a 6-month Orca pass, a signed Sounders jersey and REI bike tune-ups.  Just sign up at one of our station booths to win!  

      Want a cool memory of your first ride on the train? We're partner with social networking site Whrrl to set up photo booths and an interactive website where you can share your stories about light rail with photos, Facebook and Twitter updates.  

      Want some cool light rail giveaways? We've got stickers, magnets, coupons to local businesses and more.

      WESTLAKE STATION
      Join us with our partners Zipcar, Commute Seattle and Pike Place Market for plenty of giveaways, opportunities to win prizes and get your cool light rail picture taken for free!

      INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT STATION
      Join us with our partners Wing Luke Asian Museum and SCIDpda (Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority) for local business specials, a special guide to events in the neighborhood and LION DANCING.  That's right Lion Dancing at 2:30 pm!  

      And Sounders fans we've got you covered!  Look out for our volunteers handing out free Sounders stickers before the big game at noon!

      OTHELLO STATION 
      We'll be teaming up with our friends at Othello Partners and the Othello Neighborhood Association for a street festival with food and retail vendors, live music, lion dancers (yes there'll be more lion dancing) and more! 

      Wanna get your Undrivers License?  Your in luck!  Our friends at Sustainable Ballard will be onsite at the Othello station to hook you up! 

      It's a great way to spend your Saturday. So what are you waiting for?  Join us on July 18.
