I met her at the Seattle picnic last year. I'm sorry to hear what
happened. It's so sad that violence of this nature happens in the first
place let alone to a friend of ours.

Respectfully,
Jedi

>> On Sunday two women were brutally attacked as they slept in their home.
>> The one woman who did not survive the attack was a friend of Rita Szantay.
>> Teresa was also a friend of the NFB of WA. She attended many of our state
>> conventions, she assisted with conventions, she worked with Rita on
>> projects and supported our fundraising efforts. The last time I saw
>> Teresa and Jennifer was at the Wine Tasting Party and they had brought two
>> friends as well. Teresa was a friend of the organized blind and of blind
>> people. This random act of violence is tragic in so many ways that words
>> cannot express my feelings of loss. We send to Rita and Teresa's friends
>> and family our condolences at the loss of a vibrant and loving person.
