Do you want to influence the way the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation does business over the next 3 years?

If so, now is the time!
The WA State Rehabilitation Council and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation request your input at a public forum on:
May 21st, 1:00-3:00pm

Hearing Speech & Deafness Center

1625-19th Ave, Seattle

Background: Every three years, all Vocational Rehabilitation programs that want to be eligible to receive federal funds are required to submit a document called the state plan. This plan guides the way the VR program will do business during the next 3 years by establishing goals and priorities the agency will factor into its approach to service delivery. There are opportunities for advocates to influence service delivery through sharing input on the sections addressing the goals and priorities and the strategies DVR will use to achieve them and a section on innovation.

If you want to provide comment but are unable, you may submit written comment by June 1st to vetrjp at dshs.wa.gov<mailto:vetrjp at dshs.wa.gov>.

ASL interpretation provided. To request reasonable accommodation contact krulik at dshs.wa.gov<mailto:krulik at dshs.wa.gov>
