Subject: Service on Stewart in Seattle




Major work on the sidewalks and traffic lanes of Stewart Street in Seattle continues to disrupt and sometimes delay bus service in that area. 

Currently, only one bus stop is affected. The regular stop at Stewart & Yale will remain closed until the sidewalk is replaced. Buses are serving a temporary stop at Stewart & Denny, on the east/freeway side of Denny. 

Starting about 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 8 through 4 a.m. Monday, May 11, the stop on Stewart & 7th will be closed. That closure affects Sound Transit and Metro service only, not Community Transit commuter routes.
