Subject: [Wcb-l] New List possibly of interest
Hi,
Thanks to the blindtech moderators for allowing me to make this
announcement.
If you were a bit surprised last week when the NLS shut down the BARD
Discuss list, as I was, you can join a new list that will (hopefully)
continue to offer folks a venue to discuss all things BARD related.
For those not aware of BARD, you can join and find out what it's all about!
In short, BARD, or Braille and Audio Reading Download, is a facet of the NLS
that provides a web site to download NLS digital talking books. This
pertains to folks in the US for the most part who are patrons, or might soon
be patrons, of the NLS program.
To join, send a blank email to the following email address:
bardtalk-subscribe at yahoogroups.com
Hope to see some of you on the list!
Dave
