I am asking for your help to identify viable candidates for the WSDOT Office of Equal Opportunity External Civil Rights Branch (ECRB) Manager position that has been vacant since July 1 when Jim Medina retired after 36+ years with state government. I have attached scanned copies of the ECRB  job announcement and the current WMS Band 3 Management Position Description for the ECRB Manager position.

Just so you know, there are no promotional candidates from within ECRB. Because of the importance of the ECRB Manager position to the agency Brenda Nnambi was given permission to conduct an external recruitment in hopes of attracting candidates with the skill sets needed for the position. Although it is unlikely that we will find a candidate that has a work background that matches all the essential areas for the position, I am confident that there are seasoned managers with some of the KSA's and transferable work experiences who would make excellent candidates.

Anything you can do to get our information into the hands of interested candidates would really be appreciated! If you have questions please contact  me or Brenda.  I have copied Brenda on this email to confirm my commitment to her to use my network to reach out to folks with extensive networks themselves who may be able to help us identify candidates for the ECRB Manager position.
