Subject: [wtbbl] Calling WTBBL Artists!!

Calling all Washington Talking Book & Braille Library artists!  There is
still time to submit your art for the WTBBL art show.

For a week in October, the meeting room at WTBBL will be transformed
into a gallery of tactile art created by patrons of the Library.  We
want all the pieces to be tactile so that people can explore them by
touch.  The show will open with an artists' reception on Friday evening,
October 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The art will continue to be on display Monday through Friday, October
19-23, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in a secured viewing area.   If the
enthusiasm of a participating patron and the beauty of her pottery are
any indication, this show is one you are not going to want to miss.

There is still room for more art work, so if you would like to submit
some of yours, please contact Theresa Connolly at (206) 615-0415 or
1-800-542-0866, or by email at tconnolly at secstate.wa.gov   We would love
the chance to share something you have created with the WTBBL community!

If you won't be submitting art, please do consider joining us for the
opening reception on October 16th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  We will have
brochures discussing the artists' work, food, and of course, the
wonderful art.  You can also come to the Library between October 19-23,
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to view the art.  We look forward to seeing
you!
