The city of Edmonds has hired a contractor to do grinding and paving work on
three major street segments starting Sept. 28: 


*	Dayton between Sunset and 5th Avenue 


*	212th Street between 72nd and 84th avenues 


*	220th between Highway 99 and 76th Avenue 


Work is expected to progress in phases and may not be complete until the end
of November, depending on weather. Although Community Transit buses will be
able to operate on regular routes through most of the work, reroutes will be
needed to allow new pavement to harden. Reroutes will also be implemented if
road conditions or delays warrant them. 


Affected bus stops will be posted with rider alerts, which will also be on
the website and sent to subscribers of affected routes through our email and
text messaging system (subscribe via your route schedule page on the
website) 


What routes are impacted will depend on what road segment is under
construction and what work is being done. Impacted routes will include: 110,
112, 114, 115, 116, 118, 131, 404, 406, 416, 810, 870.
