The good news lately is that Luke French has turned in some good outings.
this isn't like pitching against the Orioles or Royals; the Twins are
motivated to win, and French appeared to pitch well.

How about that! The M's pulled one out! Given the dirth of runs scored
lately, I thought when the Twins got that run that it spelled finis for the
M's. Encouragement for the Whitesox? Frankly, I don't think they have a
chance but this has been a weird year. Who'd have thunk the Rays would do so
well?
