Do you know of a businesses or individual that has improved access for people with disabilities in our community beyond what the Americans with Disabilities Act or other relevant law requires?  If so, we want to recognize them!  Alliance of People with disAbilities is seeking nominations for its White Ribbon Award to celebrate one individual or business who has had a profound impact in this area.

Award winners will be honored at the Twentieth Anniversary Celebration of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) being held from 10 am to 2 pm on July 26th at the Woodland Park Zoo.  Nomination forms should be submitted by Thursday, July 8, 2010 to events at disabilitypride.org<mailto:events at disabilitypride.org>.  For more information, call 206-633-6633.
