Subject: Hyde Shuttles
This company has been operating since 1997 and is part of Senior Services. Hyde provides transportation in vans to various neighborhoods to seniors and people with disabilities. No eligibility test to pass. No walkaround downtown. You can call the same day, and if there is space on a van, they will schedule you. They drop you off and come back to get you.
Below are my rough notes from my conversation with Cindy Zwart. She will be coming to speak at the August WCB King County Chapter meeting.
Hyde Shuttles Cindy Zwart for questions-- 727-6255 These are vans serving various neighborhoods.
Ballard-- north to 145th, west to Puget Sound, south to the ship canal, and east to iblee. Will go to Northgate to Group Health.
Northeast--Seattle--up to 145th NE, south to the ship canal, west to iblee, and east to Lake Washington. Will take people to Northwest
Hospital.
Shoreline--Lake Forest park north of 145th up to snohomish county.
West Seattle van.
Central Area--first Hill Capital Hill, and International District.
Beacon Hill-- Southeast Seattle Area south to the city limits.
Des Stoines-- Normandy Park, and Burien.
There are also three vans in the snoqualmie valley. Community Access Partnership Transportation
Program. to schedule--727-6262.
Can call same day if there is a space. for First Hill Tuesday and Wednessday, but for ballard to ballard, could do same
day.
