I'm beginning to think that by the simple names alone, these are not really
authentic Mexican places...Texmex or Americanized Mexican.

There is also a    taco place called "Woody's Tacos" near the Starbucks on
8th.

The Bell/Concierge say only the bar closed. 

Maybe I need to have them or myself take a walk over there. 

Whosong and Larrys is better mexican anyway, my opinion only, (grin)

Good job, thanks. Although I believe Peppers is no longer open. There is a 
New  place at 108 W. 8th St., it is called O'shansky's. It's near 8th & 
Washington, a couple of blocks from the hotel.
