Hi Everyone,  Yes, we all enjoyed the convention and learned about how similar but how different issues are in the United States compared with Canada.  Mike Freeman is a great host and runs a casual but effective branch of the NFB.  The hotel was excellent and I even got a swim in at the end of the day. There was a whole host of topics  discussed from blind drivers to mobility training and adaptive equipment.  It was a fast trip with every thing going to plan.  Graeme.

NFB of Washington conventions are always a great time and a real inspiration! What a warm and welcoming group of people!

  NFB of Washington Convention:
  Four people (Graeme and Christine McCreath, and Oriano and Doris Belusic) attended the NFB-W convention which was held this weekend in Vancouver, Washington at the Hilton Hotel.
  We had a very good time and tt was interesting listening to the speeches as well as a very inspiring banquet speech.  We also enjoyed some delicious meals, drinks, laughs and winning some prizes.
  Mike Freeman, the NFB-W president and members made us feel very welcome.  A big thank you to Christine for driving us all down and back.
