Mike and Listers,

Sounds like things are moving nicely toward another successful convention. Don't forget, that Mike and I will be on the Evergreen Radio Reading Service Talk show this evening from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Any and all can and should call in during that hour to ask Mike any question you want to ask. Now, whether he can answer them remains to be seen. (grin.) Knowing him though, he'll give it the old college try!

You can listen on-line at www.wtbbl.org, or with your ERRS receiver. Call in at (800) 542-0866 then press 5, or in Seattle (206) 615-0414.. Because of an anticipated high volume of calls, call in early. (smile.) This is an important talk show, as we not only will discuss the upcoming NFB of Washington convention, but the whys and wherefores of the organized blind movement that is the National Federation of the Blind. We may even talk about the "Blind Driver Challenge", and the car that we can drive. Don't forget, and join us to help the rest of the blind community learn all about us and our events.

Fellow Federationists:

Rep. Jim Jacks (49th District) has agreed to speak at our convention. He (along with Rep. Moeller) was instrumental in protecting the independent status of the School for the Blind.
