Hello Everyone, You are invited to join the Vision Loss Connections
Tour at the Bellevue Art Museum on Wednesday August 24th at 11:30a.m.
The Museum is arranging Small Group Tactile and Verbally Described
Tours.
Admission Price is $6.00 for Adults and $4.00 for Seniors and Students

The Tour will focus on two Exhibits:
Midway by Kathy McClure - Music, Carousels and Whirring
Motors-toys buzzing about,or lined up like prizes on the wall waiting
to be won-The Air is thick with the excitement of the carnival with
moving bronze hippos and elephants that can be touched!
A Sculptural Odyssey by Michael Cooper - Fantastical
"vehicles" include pistol packing tricycles, astoundingly intricate
wooden hot rods that don't quite go anywhere and curiously mobile
forms of furniture underscore his role as one of the most imaginative
sculptors working today. Art can be explored by touch wearing Curator
Gloves!

Time: Tour is 11:30a.m - 1:30p.m
After the Tour there are a number of nearby lunch options-including
brown bag in the Downtown Bellevue Park and Rose Garden - Specialty
Cafe and Bakery which is close by in Bellevue Square has reasonably
priced sandwiches and salads to go
Bus Travel from Seattle-There will be a group traveling by Bus from
Downtown Seattle to the Bellevue Art Museum
Meet at 10:00a.m. by the Starbucks in the lobby of Benaroya Hall on
the West Side of 3rd Avenue and Union Street -
Or Meet at 10:20 at the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel Station at
University Street- Bay D going South/Eastbound
Group will board the Sound Transit#550 Eastbound Express Bus at
University Street Station Bay D at 10:25a.m Bus goes directly to
Bellevue Art Museum
There will also be a group taking the#550 Bus back to Seattle after
Lunch
