Here is my public comment.
I am very appauled at Kitsap Mall's behavior. When I last walked the entire mall at Christmas, there were still 15 vacant store fronts. I am disabled and cannot drive. I was taking the bus from my home to the mall (non stop route). In order to use Access, you have to book one day ahead (per Access regulations). Kitsap mall expects me and every other disabled person, every senior citizen, and every child to walk up hill almost two blocks to catch a bus. The poor can only afford the bus. Kitsap Mall needs to use common sense. I sure would like to know who this preferred retailer is they are trying to woo. There are plenty of big name retailers and local talent in the mall. I was thinking of opening a retail shop at Kitsap Mall when I retire from Civil Service. I not only changed my mind, but I am also boycotting the Mall and will encourage family/friends to join me. On average, I spend about 100 dollars per month at the mall. Kitsap Mall just
lost a lot of business.
