As you know, C-TRAN will roll out a fixed route IVR (Interactive Voice
Response) system later this Spring. The system will tell customers when
their bus will arrive at any given fixed route bus stop. All the person
needs to do is input the four digit stop id number and real time
information is relayed to the caller. 

 

I'd like to gather you folks and any other advocates for people with
visual disabilities to discuss how to reach out the community. How
should we  accommodate visually impaired customers so they can use the
system. What do we need to do to make the system work for people with
visual disabilities?
