I am moved to wonder how the researchers aim to isolate blindness since the study cannot be, um, double-blind, it will be very hard to find valid control subjects and the sample will be ludicrously small. I'm sorry but it's hard for me not to escape the suspicion that the good docs are trying to prove what they think they already know!
