Oh wow, how very scary and very sad!  I know when your heart's 
ready you'll get a new kitty.  Poor Maryan, it sure takes animals 
awhile to get over missing someone.  We had a pet labrador named 
Jake and when my fourth guide dog Artemis had to retire, Jake 
just moped and kept looking out the window the whole time I was 
at school.  I had had to take Artestis with me because I couldn't 
find a place for him in my area.  I don't know that Jake ever got 
over missing Artie.  And we've never gotten over missing Jake.  
Isn't it funny how animals just get in to our hearts and stay 
there?  Wow.  Take care and be good to yourself.    Blessings,
