According to an article which I read and which is c redible, the Mariners
are well-positioned to be sold.  They are building, and building pretty
well, toward some future, and with that building, low current costs, and an
upcoming tv deal, they're worth a lot.  The only reason I don't fear them
skipping town is that I don't see any other cities in a position to want or
house a major league team at this point.
