Why is he going to be on the radio today?  Was he interviewed for a particular reason, or is he going to be demonstrating a new gadget or something?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Ray Kurzweil is going to be on the local NPR radio station in Seattle today at around noon.  For those of you not in the Seattle area, the website to stream the show is:

Ray Kurzweil has been a close partner and friend of the NFB since the 1970s when we supported his work on a reading machine, which at that time was the size of a photocopier.  Here is a blurb from the Braille Monitor about him, and I know there are many other articles in the Monitor article about him as well.
