I feel much as you do politically. However, I think we should be sufficiently honest with ourselves to admit that bike paths and sidewalks will do little to stop the "obesity epiidemic" which, BTW, I think is misnamed -- one has disease epidemics; obesity is not, by and lage, a disease.

Oh well.
