Ok, this is a puzzle to me anyway, giggle.  My new digital recorder from the
Library was not plugged in for a while, nor used.  So I plug it in to
recharge over night and as soon as I unplug the machine, it dies. Did I kill
the battery? Is there a reset button I have to push? This just seems so
strange for a year or two old machine battery to just die like this.
