Yeah, I know spring training isn't necessarily a barometer of anything, but I'm pretty impressed with the present group at the present time anyway.  Guess I'm a "glass is half full" kind of fan!

Getting excited about spring training performance or records is pretty
pointless.  The 2001 Mariners had a poor sprint training record and then
went on to tie the record for most wins.  Those guys are hitting home runs
against pitchers who will be in double or triple-a this year.  Hope springs
eternal.
