You are invited to participate in a discussion on accessibility policies
within King County Metro Transit. To join in, visit
http://amlia.cs.washington.edu/mobile/ to consider two hypothetical changes
to Metro Transit's accessibility practices. To encourage participation, we
are offering a $20 gift certificate to the first 20 blind or low vision
people who *write or comment on at least four pro/con points total by* *April
10, 2012 and who are willing to participate in a short phone interview
after using the system.*

To receive payment, please sign in and write all four submissions under the
same email address, then email considerit481 at googlegroups.com. Please also
send your phone number and a few times you are available in the next two
weeks for an interview (15 minutes max).

This discussion is part of a project in the University of Washington
Computer Science and Engineering Department on promoting public
deliberation on topical issues. Specifically, we are testing a platform
optimized for blind and low-vision users. We are neither affiliated with
nor endorsed by Metro, and these proposals are not under active
consideration. Metro is, however, interested in feedback from this
discussion.

Our interface was designed especially for mobile devices and Apple's
VoiceOver technology but should be compatible with most standard screen
readers.

Questions? Feedback? Please contact us at considerit481 at googlegroups.com.

Hope to see you at http://amlia.cs.washington.edu/mobile!

Sincerely,
Donovan Hunt, Yizhou Wang, and Krysta Yousoufian
