Sorry about your computer fiasco. And I readily admit that I'm one of a
handful of Federationist and ACB members who doesn't sing the company song,
as it were. (grin)

And if the steak is excellent like at Ruth Chris, they get more then twenty
percent tip. My first and only time there was just magical thanks to our
professional waiter.
But Mike, if people care about something deeply like Braille menus, I am
right there with them. It really is wonderful to hear the wait staff so
proudly say "we have Braille menus if you would like that better." Gives me
time to connect with many thank yous.
I have a friend not in the NFB who yells at me all the time about not
knowing Braille, well other then the basic alphabet.
My hope for getting my patterns off my dead computer is ebbing away. So
maybe hard copies in Braille would be a better idea, or maybe putting them
on the cloud. But, ug, just thinking about my own patterns three years of
work, just possibly gone, ug. Well time to reformulate them, when I get a
break from work that is, smile.

I remain one of a small minority within NFB that doesn't care whether he
receives a Braille menu or not.
I'm not interested in the vast variety and the longer one takes to read a
menu, the longer before the grub comes! After all, if one knows about the
nachos, onion rings, burgers, steaks and prime rib, what *else* does one
need to know about? (grin) I don't need to know that some unpronounceable
French guy designed the decore of the place in 1843 or that the bacterium
botulinum has been carefully cultivated and preserved since the time of the
Borgias. (har)
Let's get down to the steaks and have at it!
But, as I say, mine is a minority view.

Well Mike, maybe they should be, but they do not. Every time I go to an
IHOP, I ask for a Braille menu. No Braille menu. But I'll keep asking.
Chili's, Denny's, Applebee's, (I think they still have their Braille menu)
have them. But IHOP, Elmer's,
Perkins, they do not. Peace, Debby
