Hi Mike, that's a good article, but it is pretty sad that in 21 years, in
this area we seem to have made little progress. You are right, this is a
dangerous premise, that blind people cannot travel safely alone. We will
always have this struggle until somehow we convince the general public and
those in law enforcement that not all accidents involving blind people are
our fault. I'm not sure what the solution is. Certainly articles
like the one in the NY Times recently, don't help. Peace,
