Subject: [Nfbnet-members-list] Free Shuttles - Extended Hours
Extended Hours for Free Bus Service between Rosen Center and Rosen Plaza
We are extending start and end times to ensure guests at the Rosen
Plaza can attend events at the Rosen Center.
The first bus will depart the Rosen Plaza at 7:45 AM so people can
get to the Rosen Center for early meetings.
Last Buses of the evening:
Monday, July 1 - Wednesday, July3
The last bus of the evening will depart the Rosen Center for the
Rosen Plaza at 10:30 PM.
The last bus departing the Rosen Plaza for the Rosen Center will
depart at 10:15 PM.
Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5
We will have two buses. The last bus will depart each of the two
properties at 10:30 PM.
Saturday, July 6 (Banquet Day)
We will have two buses. The last bus will depart each of the two
properties at 11:30 PM.
The NFB will run convenient shuttles between the Rosen Center and the
Rosen Plaza throughout the day and well into the evening so you will
be able to easily travel between the two properties.
While all convention meetings will be held at either the Rosen Center
or the adjoining Orlando Convention Center, some attendees were
unable to get a room at the Rosen Center and will be staying at the
secondary hotel, the Rosen Plaza.
The bus ride between the two properties is 10-15 minutes in duration.
It is possible to walk between the two properties within 20+ minutes.
Buses will be coordinated to ensure members can get back and forth
for the banquet.
At the Rosen Center, buses are departing from the "Signature 1" exit
located behind the escalators on Level 1 of the hotel. These
escalators are the only escalators within the Rosen Center property
and are just below the 2nd floor walkway to the Orlando Convention Center.
The bus will depart the Rosen Plaza from the main lobby. There will
be volunteers to help you at both of these locations.
Please note: the bus service is being organized by the NFB, not the
hotel so hotel staff may not be aware of the details. If you have
questions, please speak to a volunteer at either of these locations.
If you have further questions, please contact Tracy Soforenko at
(202) 285-4595 or Michael Kasey at) 540) 760 - 3885.

Second Vice president, National Federation of the Blind of Virginia
