This is good news! Yesterday I spoke with Sam Mack in Senator Cantwell's office. HR 164 has been sent to the staffer who makes the final decision on which bills get to the Senator for her approval. In other words, that staff person is the final gatekeeper. What we need now is for people to call Senator Cantwell's DC office and urge her signing on as a cosponsor. Representative McDermott has not yet signed on either so keep up the communication with his office.
