The Washington State Department of Services for the Blind (DSB) is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Orientation and Mobility Instructor - Rehabilitation Teacher 3 (04993)<http://agency.governmentjobs.com/washington/default.cfm> in Seattle, Washington, this position is a member of the Orientation and Training Center (OTC) team, providing rehabilitative program services, specialized instruction and counseling to blind and visually impaired customers enrolled in the OTC program. Customers are referred for training by the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors throughout the state and usually attend the OTC at the initial phase of their Vocational Rehabilitation process.
Adaptive Technology Specialist - ITS3 - (04976)<http://agency.governmentjobs.com/washington/default.cfm> in Lacey, Washington, the role of the Adaptive Technology (AT) Specialist is vital to DSB and its customers by identifying appropriate, effective tools and necessary training to make tasks accessible for Blind, Deaf Blind, and Low Vision individuals and ensures customers are job ready by providing for training of adaptive technologies for efficient access of print, computer data and work tasks.
