Hi Philip,
It sounds like you might get a ride from Julie and Tom. If not, call me and I'll give you directions to the meeting. See you Saturday.

Hi everyone I am trying to make arrangements to attend the meeting this
weekend and would like to arrange a ride with someone or arrange a place to
meet. If I can work it out I will be staying in Marysville and head south
from there Saturday morning. Otherwise can someone tell me where to go from
the bus stop near City University? I should have no trouble with bus
routes, I just don't know where to go from the bus stop. Any help would be
appreciated. - Philip

Greetings, everyone.
On May 18, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., the NFB of Washington will
hold a membership seminar in Seattle, Washington, at the City University
building at 521 Wall Street where the Seattle chapter holds its monthly
meetings. Lunch will consist of take-out pizza; each person participating in
the seminar should bring $5.00. The affiliate will cover the remainder of
the cost.
This is a good old-fashioned membership seminar in which NFB philosophy,
strategies for legislative advocacy, activities people would like to see the
affiliate undertake between now and the fall convention, ideas for fall
convention topics and other convention activities will be discussed. There
will be a Q&A period for those new to the Federation to get their questions
about the Federation answered. There will also be a NFB of Washington Board
of Directors meeting. We will not have a national representative; this will
be totally home-grown.
More information about the seminar including driving and public transit
directions will be forthcoming shortly. I urge everyone to make plans to
attend and participate. This will be a great time to get to know new members
and for grizzled veterans of the Movement to become reacquainted. For more
information, call me at (360) 241-5273 or Marci Carpenter at (206) 933-7971.
Mike Freeman, President
NFB of Washington
