[nfbwatlk] FW: Correction: opportunity to explore an Alaska Airlines plane!

It could be sorta fun, especially if they let me slide down the evac slide. Lol. I have always imagined how the oxygen masks work, and think I have a pretty good idea, but if I have to grab my seat which sometimes acts as a floatation device, I'll probably drown. I was reading something recently or maybe it was on TV that the FAA requires that a plane be evacuated in 90 seconds. That's not a heck of a lot of time to get everybody off. (And of course there is always the idiot who wants to grab their briefcase, or whatever. I understand about the wheelchairs, just as long as they don't insist I get in one. I had that happen once, and the pilot, who happened to be walking by, interveened. He asked me if I wanted to sit in the wheelchair, and I said no. He turned to the really pissed off assistant, and said, "You heard the lady, she doesn't need or want the wheelchair." Boy was that assistant mad! He muttered all the way to my next gate. Needless to say, he did not get a tip from me. Debbywof aws s
