[nfbwatlk] Training with Al Yardley has been canceled!

Not quite.  Al is a contractor who contracts all over.  It just happens that DSB has a contract with him to work with folks on Zoomtext and MAGIC, which is why he's at the Seattle office quite a bit.  But, he trains all over.  He even does remote training by phone.
