This is ridiculous! I'm not the best traveler in the world, but I 
certainly can detect the edge of the platform with those textured 
strips.  With proper cane technique, it's not that difficult.  
Worse to me are trains that you have to climb into.  Those are 
difficult for elderly folks, and others that have walking issues.  
I know in Denver you have to walk all the way down to the end of 
the train and they have to put out a ramp.  I think the most 
accessible light rail I've ridden is Max in Portland.  Now those 
are accessibility issues.  Sheesh!    Debby
