Mike, I wish I never joined linkedin  because of the spamming.I get a dozen
a week at least, Becky pulls her hair out! 

So good motivation to opt out. But you all notice I have never spammed
anyone. So there is a way. Dogged if I know what I did to not spam, but
there is a  way.

Marcy, you are tops in my book, hugs. Yours would never be to me spam, hugs.
I got this chick lisa I want to smack her childish face back to NJ where she
lives. I have written her a half dozen times to nock off the linked in crap.
Finally finally she stopped. So if this ding dong head full of fuzz can do
it, so can I.

Messages such as the one shown below aren't from the originator directly but
are canned invitations sent automagically on behalf of a LinkedIn subscriber
by LinkedIn. As such, I consider them spam albeit inadvertent spam. I
request that all LinkedIn users try to figure out if there's a way to
disable such nonsense from being sent to NFB lists by LinkedIn and, if so,
to disable such messages.

This is one reason I haven't joined LinkedIn; no one seems to be able to
tell me whether or if I could disable such nonsense were I a LinkedIn
subscriber and unless I could do so, I will *not* subscribe to LinkedIn.

On my personal account, I have constructed a message recipient filter to zap
all such messages. You can still ask me to join LinkedIn but you're gonna
have to do it by direct message to me, not by accepting what I consider
LinkedIn's bribe for a free account, that is, allowing it to spam on behalf
of you.

Anyway, I'm done ranting! (smile)
