Marci, I'm going to miss this meeting because I need to take our eldest to
his ENT specialist in the morning here in Tacoma.

I'll look for your minutes in the coming week.

Regards,

Sushil

I neglected to put the date and time of the chapter meeting in my previous
message.

It is this coming Saturday, March 15th at 10:00 a.m. at CityU, 521 Wall St.

Petra Mediterranean Bistro is located at 2501 4th Avenue (NW corner of 4th &
Wall).

Cheers!

Marci

election to be held on April 22nd. At our last meeting we voted to endorse
the campaign. We want to make sure that all eligible voters are registered
and can cast their ballots. Brochures will be available for members to take
with them. We want to spread the word and encourage all King County
residents to vote for Proposition 1, which seeks a 1/10th of a penny sales
tax increase and a $60 car tab fee to prevent Metro cuts from gutting our
transit service and provides money for street/sidewalk improvements in the
county. The measure has a provision for a $20 rebate for low income vehicle
owners one the car tab fee, and replaces the current $20 fee that was added
2 years ago. For those living outside of King County please encourage all of
your King Co. acquaintances to vote for this measure so that blind people
can continue to live full lives.
