PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Community Mental Health Center has an opening in their Othello office for a Peer Support Specialist. 
Duties include peer counseling to consumers of mental health services, provide activities that promote socialization, recovery, self-advocacy, development of natural supports and maintenance of community living skills to consumers. 

High School Diploma or GED, Certificated Peer Counselor Certificate, and 1 year experience in human services field. Experience working with the chronically mentally ill desired; including children and adolescents. 

Bilingual Spanish encouraged to apply. Beginning salary ranges $27,185.76 - $29,707.08 DOE. Benefits include retirement, medical, dental, holidays, vacation and sick leave.
