Everett is an excellent choice. While I've never seen him actually lead or present at a convention, I got to know him on the scholarship committee, and he's articulate, and has our philosophy down. This will be a good convention.

Greetings,

I was informed today that Everett Bacon will be the National Representative at our NFBW state convention this Fall. Everett was elected to the NFB National Board of Directors at our recent national convention. He is also the President of the NFB of Utah. He is a very bright and thoroughly enjoyable person and I am very excited to have him as our National Representative. Everett recently told his story in a video for our YouTube channel; NationsBlind. I have posted a link to this video below. Once his biography is posted on our nfb.org <http://nfb.org/> website I will also send that out.

Each year a National Representative is assigned to attend each NFB state convention. Since President Riccobono cannot possibly attend every state convention a national board member or other NFB leader is designated to carry his greeting and the latest national news to the state conventions. That person also gives the banquet address and is also here to help us to build our organization. 

I am looking forward to a fun and productive state convention and Everett will help to make it so!
