Released by the Board in February, the proposed rule is available for public comment until May 28, 2015.
Board representatives will explain proposed revisions to the Section 508 Standards and Section 255 Guidelines. Significant changes will be reviewed, including the application of WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria to websites, offline electronic documents, and software, real-time text functionality for products providing two-way voice communication, coverage of electronic documents, and ICT compatibility with assistive technology.
