King County Disability Services is currently offering a year-long internship to interested graduate-level college students who are interested in disability management in an employer setting.  The duration of the internship will be June, 2017 to June, 2018.

Disability Services provides assistance to King County employees, focusing on reasonable accommodations in the workplace. We provide highly specialized support to King County employees and management regarding disability related matters, effectively balancing the employee's and King County Departmental operational needs.  Other services include return-to-work programs, absence management and leave administration, supported employment and the Employee Assistance Program.

WHO MAY APPLY:
Our graduate internship is open only to persons who will be enrolled in a related full-time graduate college program for the entire 2017/2018 school year (Fall, 2017 through Spring, 2018).

WAGE INFORMATION:
Graduate Interns will be compensated within a range of $18.10 - $22.94 per hour.
WORK SCHEDULE:
These positions may be full-time (up to 40 hours per week) for the summer, and part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the school year.
