[NFBWATLK] need help crossing the street

Hey Lauren, I shink you're just the person I need aduice from. There is a stray cat that has been hanging around our house. It looks like she is a female, pretty young, I think. She has a collar but nething on it, like a license or anything. She is getting skinnier, so we've started feeding her. She will also come and sit on my lap when I call her. We are torn between keeping her and taking her to Scraps, which is the county animal shelter. The 1iggest dilemma in the decision whether to keep her or not is whether she and Flounder get along. Our plan is that tomorrow when we have nowhere to go, we will let the other cat into the house and see how she and Flounder get along. I'm pretty familiar with how to introduce new dogs to each other but not really cats. We thought we would put the two dogs in the bedroom so that it's just the cats interacting with each other.
Another question is this. Do we need to have towo litter boxes if we keep this cat, or can she and Flounder share? Maybe the better way to ask this is will Flounder and she share a litter box, or will she need her own? Also right now Flounder has his own food container. He eats whenever he wants, and we put the food in a container where the food can slide into the feeder. Will they be able to share, or will we need to get another similar feeding container for her? She seems to like his food okay, so that's not a problem. Any suggestions you can make would be great. Thanks, Debby, perspective new Cat Mom.
