Washington State Department of Services for the Blind is recruiting for an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (Rehabilitation Teacher 3)-North Region in our Seattle Office.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
A Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or Rehabilitative Services, or a related field, which includes a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours in an accredited Orientation and Mobility program AND At least one year of experience working with the visually impaired
DESIRED:
A Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Teaching for the blind or a Bachelor's degree in Special Education for the visually impaired, including a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours in an accredited orientation and mobility program AND
18 months of experience in providing direct rehabilitation teaching services and/or orientation and mobility to blind or visually impaired individuals
OR
A Master's degree in Rehabilitation Teaching or a Master's degree in Special Education for the visually impaired, including a minimum of 30 semester or
45 quarter hours in an accredited orientation and mobility program;
OR
A Bachelor's degree, including a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours in an accredited orientation and mobility program AND
24 months of experience in providing direct client services that teach adaptive skills of blindness to the blind or visually impaired and/or orientation and mobility to blind or visually impaired individuals
