Subject: Meeting Invitation: Bike Share and People with Disabilities
Hello,
You are invited to a public meeting with the Seattle Department of
Transportation to talk about Seattle's free-floating bike share program and
its impacts on people with disabilities!
Bike Share and People with Disabilities - Public Meeting
Friday, March 2nd, 2018 at 6PM
Seattle Public Library, Washington Mutual Room (1000 4th Avenue, 4th Floor)
Beginning in July 2017, the Seattle Department of Transportation has allowed
private companies to deploy free-floating bike share bikes in Seattle. We
are now evaluating what worked, what didn't, and what could be improved. We
look forward to talking with you about everything bike share, especially the
program's impacts on people with disabilities, from bike parking problems to
ideas for increasing adaptive cycling access.
Please forward this invitation to other community members that may be
interested in participating. We will distribute a link to a short web survey
in the next few days. You may also email comments to Brian Camozzi at
brian.camozzi at seattle.gov.
The City of Seattle encourages everyone to participate in its programs and
activities, regardless of ability. For accommodations, materials in
alternate formats, or accessibility information, contact Brian Camozzi at
brian.camozzi at seattle.gov at your earliest opportunity.
Thanks,
SDOT Bike Share Team
