[NFBWATlk] Meeting at Large Chapter Conference Call 10/10/19

Hello All!

Sorry for the late reminder. I was hoping that wee would have the new
platform up and running for this month's meeting. Unfortunately we
don't have it quite put together yet. So, this month we will still be
using our usual conference call number. Yet have no fear! We will have
a wonderful meeting and I look forward to hearing from you all this
month.

This Thursday night, October 10th at 8:00pm sit down with a hot cup of
coffee, pick up the phone and join us! We will be hearing from our
state President, Marci Carpenter about what is currently happening
within the affiliate. We will also be talking about our upcoming state
convention. This year's convention is shaping up to be exciting and
full of good information! Be sure to make your reservations at the
hotel and send in your registration information ASAP! We will also
talk about Meet the Blind month activities. We would love for you to
dig through your memories and share some of your experiences. What was
your favorite memory of teaching someone about Braille, mobility or
just what your life is like on a daily basis? Do you have a funny
mobility experience you would be willing to share? Your stories and
contributions really make the meetings fun and interactive.

At 7:45 pm our phone lines open, this gives you time to talk with
others on the line, get settled in your favorite recliner and top off
that cup of hot chocolate.
At 8:00 pm we start our meeting.

We usually wind up the call around 9:00pm.
