> Policies to Be Considered
>
> As the supreme authority of the organization, the Convention assembled elects leaders and sets policies and priorities. Delegations normally need to be in-person to vote but the board has proposed rules of engagement for the virtual environment. Similar rules were adopted in 2020.
>
> Review the proposed rules of engagement for the 2021 NFB Virtual Convention.
> Review a board resolution being recommended to the convention to establish a fund to support survivors under our code of conduct.
> Review the 2021 Proposed Resolutions.
> Code of Conduct
>
> The National Federation of the Blind is a community of members and friends who believe in the hopes and dreams of the nation’s blind. Our organization requires a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are committed to a safe and welcoming environment. The NFB Code of Conduct outlines policies and standards for anyone who participates in Federation activities. Please read our code of conduct at https://nfb.org/codeofconduct and become familiar with the reporting process. Thank you for your commitment to the safety and support of the blind community.
>
> Survivor Safe Space
>
> As a part of our ongoing efforts to provide safety, support, and inclusion within the National Federation of the Blind, the Survivor Task Force is providing a safe space for survivors and individuals who have been impacted or harmed by sexual misconduct. Breakout rooms will be available for one-on-one confidential support. Visit the safe space via Zoom meeting ID 202 313 2945 Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Eastern and on Saturday between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
>
> If you are not able to participate in the survivors’ safe space and need additional support or have further questions during the convention, you may email survivors at nfb.org or call 410-659-9314, extension 2238. A member of the Survivor Task Force will respond to calls within four hours of the time of your message between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern during the week of convention.
>
> Opportunity to Win During NFB21: Give $20 Convention Drawing
>
> Each year, thousands of Federation members contribute during national convention to various funds that support blind people. In 2021, your generosity is still needed to fund our great programs. When you give $20 or more before July 10 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern, you will be entered into the Give $20 Convention Drawing to win an all-expenses paid trip for two to the 2022 NFB National Convention in New Orleans, OR $2,000 CASH!
