Good Afternoon,

I’d like to invite you and anyone from your organizations to engage with us here at the City of Vancouver, please forward this email to anyone who you think may be interested.

We are in the process of updating our transportation system plan and we need your help! How can we improve the ease and safety of moving around Vancouver for everyone – no matter how they choose to get around?

Vancouver Moves is a planning project led by the City of Vancouver to address the current and future transportation needs of our community.

Please join us for a virtual roundtable discussion with City staff and other community partners to share your transportation hopes and concerns and learn more about the Vancouver Moves project and goals.

Tuesday, June 15 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

OR

Wednesday, June 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Make your voice heard! The City is committed to providing an open and accessible community engagement process with ample opportunities for historically excluded groups to participate.

Space is limited at each online session to assure everyone has an opportunity to speak, so please RSVP soon! All participants will receive a $50 Fred Meyer gift card as a thank you!

RSVP to <mailto:Anthony.ramos at cityofvancouver> anthony.ramos at cityofvancouver with your preferred date by Monday, June 14, 2021.

Can’t make it, but still want to weigh in? Visit <http://www.beheardvancouver.org/vancouvermoves> www.beheardvancouver.org/vancouvermoves to share your story and ideas!

This roundtable discussion is just the first step in engaging with you and your community around Vancouver Moves. With your help, the City will continue building on these conversations throughout the transportation system plan update into 2022 and beyond.

Opportunity for public comment:

Intercity Transit invites public comment on its draft 2020 Annual Report and 2021-2026 Transit Development Plan (TDP). The draft Annual Report summarizes events that affected delivery of transit services within Thurston County’s Public Transportation Benefit Area (PTBA) over the last year. The document also projects changes in local transit services over the next five years based on facts and forecasted trends. The TDP complements Intercity Transit’s adopted Long Range Plan and Strategic Plan, which guide expansion of service, future service designs, capital facilities, equipment, agency policies, and other key business strategies.

*	The public hearing, scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 at 5:30 p.m., will be held according to public meetings guidance of Safe Start Washington: A Phased Approach to Recovery.
